Enrollment and Online Application
Priority Enrollment for current First Lutheran families and siblings begins Monday, February 2nd at 8:00 AM.
Open Enrollment begins Saturday, March 7th at 8:00 AM. Space is limited, and completed applications are reviewed in the order received.
First Lutheran welcomes children of all races, nationalities and religions. We offer one Transitional Kindergarten class (maximum 14 students) and two classes per grade, Kindergarten-8th (up to 24 students each).

Open Enrollment Begins:
Entrance Screening and Acceptance
All new students complete an initial screening by appointment in the school office. The results are used to determine the student's current academic level. Final acceptance is based on space availability, entrance screening results, and a review of school records and references (including teacher recommendations). Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten decisions are based on preschool recommendations and the Gesell Developmental Observation (readiness screening).
How to Apply
- Complete the online application (available on this page once enrollment opens).
- Pay the non-refundable $100 application fee (includes application review and screening) at the time of the application.
- After we receive your completed application and fee, our school office will contact you (typically within one week) to schedule your child's entrance screening by appointment.
Age Guidelines (Fall 2026)
- Kindergarten: must be 5 years old by September 1, 2026
- Transitional Kindergarten: typically 5 years old by December 1, 2026.
